I’m Suvi, documentary photographer and photojournalist, from Finland.

I’m intrigued by people and the complexity of humanity. With a background in social services, developmental studies and youth work, I’ve developed a sensitivity to the stories of others. For me, documentary photography is a way to participate in social debate and give space and voice to those who are not often heard. Themes I explore are often related to social issues. With a deep sense of compassion, I aim to bring attention to the narratives that are frequently overlooked.
